I have lived and worked in Seattle, Olympia, and statewide for most of my career. Real coffee, the outdoors, the most majestic geography in the U.S., and the good-hearted people east and west of the Cascades keep me passionate about serving this beautiful state I call home. Go Seahawks!

Oregon

The farming community of my upbringing in rural Oregon has become famous for pinot noir and craft beer in the last couple decades. Before that, the Willamette Valley was historically known for producing most of the nation's grass seed. The farms were what I grew up working on. 

Ohio

I lived and worked in Ohio from 2014 to 2020 in the Cleveland, Akron, and Dayton areas. Professional opportunities brought me and the friendly folks kept me grounded. I learned profound lessons of loyalty and optimism from Ohio sports fans.

Around

I love to travel and spent most of the last 15 years trekking and working around the U.S. (active duty in the United States Air Force and otherwise), the Americas, and Europe. I also lived in Copenhagen, Denmark for a portion of my 20s researching one of the happiest countries in the world.
